Peugeot tarjoaa kestävän ratkaisun autoilla. Yli puolella sen maailmanlaajuisesti myymistä autoista CO2-päästöt ovat alle 140 g/km. Tämä perustuu pitkälle kehitettyyn teknologiaan ja Peugeot on tässä kehityksen kärjessä: dieselmoottorilla varustettu hiukkassuodatin (otettu käyttöön vuonna 2000 mallissa Peugeot 607) on merkittävä tekijä ja se on jo yli 2,1 miljoonassa autossa (suodatin vähentää hiukkaspäästöjä 99,99 %). Lisäksi teknologisena läpimurtona on uuden sukupolven HDi-moottoreiden Stop & Start -järjestelmä.
FAP
Peugeotin HDi-teknologiaan on vuodesta 2000 lähtien kuulunut erittäin tehokas, päästöjä vähentävä hiukkassuodatin. Se suodattaa dieselhiukkasia niin tehokkaasti, että päästöjen mittaaminen on juuri ja juuri mahdollista (0,004 g/km)..
